La Maison du Notaire Royal
Ideally located in the town center in the heart of the medieval city of Sarlat, the Maison du Notaire Royal is a private mansion made up of three separate houses brought together in the 17th century. We offer four charming guest rooms including a suite; antique furniture and parquet floors with their private bathroom and toilet.
The house has two accesses:
- Through a garden and a private terrace, taking a passage through the old rampart of the medieval city of Sarlat.
- Through a 17th century gate overlooking the main square of Sarlat, where the markets take place on Wednesday and Saturday morning.
The house has two secure parking spaces available under conditions.
The house is in the immediate vicinity of the covered market, shops and restaurants and other amenities.

A wide choice of books on Sarlat and its surroundings are at your disposal in a large library.
A fridge and a microwave are available for self-service in the house.
You will also have at your disposal in your guest room a briefcase that you can borrow during the day with several “discovery” circuits along the Dordogne, Vézère and Lot but also more confidential circuits where we present you little-known and unusual sites very close to Sarlat, free to access and away from the crowds.
